Busan United Tech Holdings announced on the 20th of last month that it had selected 12 promising startups in the marine and fisheries sector in the Southeast region through the 2024 Marine and Fisheries Accelerator Operating Program (B-Wave Acceleration).
Busan United Tech Holdings was chosen as a regional specialized operator for the first time in the '2024 Marine and Fisheries Accelerator' project, hosted by the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries and organized by the Korea Institute of Marine Science and Technology Promotion, to support startups in the marine and fisheries sector in the Southeast region.
The startups and prospective entrepreneurs selected for the program will receive tailored mentoring, IR production support, and opportunities to participate in Demo Day, enabling them to network with accelerators and investors in the capital region. Direct investments will also be made in outstanding companies.
The final 12 companies selected for the 2024 Marine and Fisheries Accelerator Operating Program are:

- VMS Holdings Co., Ltd. (CEO Kim Ji-seok)
- InnoAble Lab Co., Ltd. (CEO Lee Kyung-mo)
- Find ER Co., Ltd. (CEO Lim Je-yeon)
- JOTACO Co., Ltd. (CEO Hwang Dae-chul)
- New Horizon Co., Ltd. (CEO Lee Seung-wook)
- NPAC S&G Co., Ltd. (CEO Kim Myung-soo)
- T-Cure Co., Ltd. (CEO Kang Hyun-wook)
- Cryo Tech Co., Ltd. (CEO Lim Jung-han)
- Prospective entrepreneurs: Do Sang-min, Yang Kyung-bin, and Lee Sang-chul.
